Those of us who run outboard jets are well aware of the dangers/hazards of running shallow, rocky rivers--from dents or holes in our boats to breaking an intake assembly (better known as jet foot) which costs over $500 to replace!.   If we run those types of rivers often enough, it's going to happen!

The Boat Shop is now stocking a "preventative fix" for the broken (jet) foot syndrome--or as our grandmothers used to say, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

Stop in today and pick up a new damage-resistant polyurethane intake assembly for your outboard jet (we stock the "large" size, for 6 7/8 up to 7 3/8 impellers).  Let us know if you're interested in the Power Jet Foot (7 5/8--7 7/8 impeller), and we can procure one for you!  Anything can be broken, but the poly foot will give you a better chance of coming off your adventure relatively unscathed.

The coffee is (almost) always on, and since we're entering the slower time of the year for our service/parts department it's always a good time to visit, ask questions, and plan for next year's adventure or even your new boat!
